Post-screening Q&A discussion featuring the filmmaker Joni Siani

Stepinac High School Honors Academy’s Lecture Series will present a free screening and discussion for parents and the community of the award-winning documentary, Celling Your Soul, about the impact of digital devices on interpersonal relationships.

This film reveals the effects of "digital socialization" by taking viewers on a personal journey with a group of high school and college students who, through a digital cleanse, discover the power of authentic human connectivity, and that there is "No App" or piece of technology that can ever replace the benefits of human connection. Celling Your Soul also provides empowering strategies for more fulfilling, balanced, and authentic human interaction within the digital landscape.

After the viewing of the documentary, there will be a question-and-answer period with the filmmaker Joni Siani, an assistant professor of Media and Communications at Manhattanville College.
